Our Membership Premise

The Usual Way

When selecting an accounting system, cost is often an important factor.  What many people aren’t prepared for is the total initial cost, plus the many ongoing costs.  For a system that can be very flexible to meet your business needs, these can become substantial very quickly:

Initial Costs Ongoing Costs
The software itself Experts to install new versions
Server(s) to run Server upgrades
Experts to setup the software Experts to provide support
Experts to train your staff Experts to provide re-training
Experts to tailor the software Experts to install new features
Experts to setup the servers Experts to maintain servers

That’s a lot of expert help.   Those experts are the modern high-priced mercenary, consultants. If you need their help, they are there for you – after all, you help them meet their primary goal: billable hours.  Consultants measure their world in the time they allocate to the work and how much they can charge you for that time.

The Small Square Services Way

When I founded Small Square Services, I wanted my company to be something more than about billable hours.  I wanted every single person on our staff to care about the client, not our revenue.  To achieve that, we’re offering something vastly different with our Membership package.  For a fixed monthly fee, we’ll help your organization get the job done right, regardless of how many hours it takes. This means:

  • Whether you have a support question, you require additional training, or you want to upgrade to the latest and greatest features of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, our fixed monthly billing guarantees that you’ll never pay extra.

This gives you the peace of mind that we’ll always be there for you, whether you can’t print a report for a meeting or your CFO has left and you’re trying to scramble to retrain his replacement.
  • Because Small Square Services does not charge by billable hours, our dedicated personnel can focus solely on the mission at hand. Unlike other consulting firms, our team does not have to “soft sell” projects.
Our staff become your advocates, finding ways to help you and your team perform your best.
  • There are no financial barriers to dramatic improvement. If your inventory manager has a great idea to reduce costs of carrying inventory, or your collections team needs additional information to perform their job, then you can just ask. You don’t have to do a return-on-investment analysis to decide if the idea is worth the cost.

If during training or support, our team identifies ways that we can improve the system to streamline your operations, well then they can just do it!
